Is shipping free?

Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders in the contiguous United States.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping! Due to the high cost of international shipping the customer is responsible for the cost.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We will make every effort to meet the estimated delivery date listed on the order. We will keep you posted every step of the way and will provide tracking information as soon as the order ships.

Do you offer free returns?

Yes! Returns are free and easy at William Ross.

As long as the shoes are 100% unworn and unused, we will accept them for return within 14 days of your receipt. Examples of shoes that we will not accept for refund include shoes with creases, scratches, or scuffed outsoles. We recommend trying them on carpet to avoid scratches. Please email returns@williamrossshoes.com to begin the process.

When will my refund be processed?

Our team will inspect the returned item within 3-5 business days of receipt. Your credit card company may take 1-2 days to show the refund on their end. Please email us at returns@williamrossshoes.com with any questions!

Do you offer free exchanges?

Yes! Exchanges are free and easy at William Ross!

As long as the shoes are 100% unworn and unused, we will accept them for exchange within 14 days of your receipt. Please note, due to our limited inventory we might not have the shoe and size you want in-stock. If that's the case we will provide store credit that you can use to place an order on a future made-to-order limited run.

How do I initiate a return/exchange?

Please email returns@williamrossshoes.com or exchanges@williamrossshoes.com. We will reply with further instructions and your prepaid shipping label within one business day.

What's my size?

Our shoes fit true to size according to a Brannock device. If you don't know your size on a Brannock device we recommend ordering your typical dress shoe size or 1/2 size down from your normal sneaker size. We have standard (D) and wide (EE) options. If you still have questions about what size you should order, please reference our size guide or email us and we will be happy to assist you!

Why do you only offer pre-orders in limited made-to-order groups?

We wanted to create shoes that you would normally pay $400+ and sell them for under $200. We spared no details in the design of our shoes. All of our shoes feature full grain Italian calfskin leathers, Goodyear Welt Construction, and are handmade by artisans with decades of experience. In order to achieve this quality at a price point of $199 we needed to make the process as lean as possible. By eliminating the need for inventory, warehouse space, and excess stock we are able to manfucature the exact amount of shoes we need for a given month and ship them straight to our customers!

Where are William Ross shoes made?

Our shoes are handmade in Spain by skilled artisans with decades of experience.

Are William Ross shoes ethically made?

Yes! We believe that it's important to work with partners that share our ethical standards. We spent months searching the world for the best manufacturing partners. We use eco-friendly business practices and our lean production model allows us to eliminate waste.

By using an ultra-lean business model we're able to bring you luxury shoes at an affordable price.

Why do you donate 10% of all profits?

We believe businesses should exist to make the world a better place. While we're confident a premium pair of dress shoes will make your life better we wanted to take it a step further. Donating 10% of our profits allows us to play a small role in helping meet critical needs in our communities and around the world.

We believe that charity: water is one of the best charities in the world. They are operating on a revolutionary business model where all of their operating costs are covered by generous private donors. This allows 100% of public donations to go directly to projects that provide clean drinking water to those in need. Furthermore, we believe that clean water is a basic need that everyone should have access to.
